Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated and motivated General Warehouse - DC - 1st Shift to join their dynamic team. As a General Warehouse - DC - 1st Shift, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting order processing, inventory management, and shipping activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: General Warehouse - DC - 1st Shift

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $16.65

Shift: First Shift, 8 hours per shift

What's the Job?

• Receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise to customers
• Tracking all inbound and outbound items using radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure inventory accuracy
• Verifying orders and ensuring accurate entry into the inventory management system
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are well kept and free of debris
• Supporting warehouse safety standards and quality control procedures

What's Needed?

• Willingness to work a flexible shift schedule
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
• Capability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (preferred)
