Job Responsibilities

The Credit Specialist position is accountable for granting credit in accordance with our credit policy, including periodic credit reviews of existing customers and account maintenance.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Review, process, grant or deny credit requests in accordance with our Credit Policy
  • Ensure all customer tax documents are valid, up-to-date, and properly filed
  • Ensure customer records are properly maintained in our digital files
  • Document credit compliance violations and escalate to the Director of Accounts Receivable as needed
  • Setup consignment accounts in accordance with our credit policy
  • Maintain Credit Alert Limits in accordance with our credit policy
  • Assist internal and external customers with issues regarding account setup and maintenance
  • Assist the Director of AR with developing and monitoring process improvement initiatives
Required Qualification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least two years of experience in accounting in a professional setting.
  • Basic Excel skills

Physical Demands: Typical 9-hour day to include driving and frequent computer (iPad) usage for call reports. To perform the duties of this job the employee must have a clean driving record and be able to sit for long periods of time. The occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
