Your expertise will be instrumental in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing time and attendance processes while leveraging data-driven insights to enhance business operations and improve the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the process owner for all U.S. time and attendance activities using Oracle, ensuring adherence to Emerson policies and labor regulations.
Audit, troubleshoot, and resolve time data discrepancies in payroll processes, collaborating with payroll and business teams for timely solutions.
Support all U.S. time and attendance activities on UKG, providing backup and partnership as needed.
Collaborate with IT and business partners on system issues and enhancement requests.
Drive standardization, automation, and improvement initiatives to optimize time and attendance processes.
Continuously review and enhance operating procedures for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct root cause analysis and oversee addressing process gaps to minimize payroll processing errors related to time data.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of time and attendance inputs, adherence to processes, and development of review/audit methods.
Monitor and implement compliance with new labor regulations impacting time and attendance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, payroll, finance, business, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a high-volume, national setting, with a solid understanding of labor policies and time-keeping processes.
Experience with Oracle Time & Labor and Absence applications.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data privacy regulations.
Demonstrated capability to manage time-keeping activities in line with U.S. labor policies and legislation.
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with UKG (Kronos) Workforce Management and Oracle Payroll module is a plus.
Background in time and attendance implementations preferred.
Familiarity with global labor regulations is advantageous.

Our compensation philosophy is straightforward: we offer a competitive base salary and recognize performance during the annual merit review process. This role features a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on the candidate's skills, capabilities, and experience.
