Overview

As a Merchandise Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our product offerings are well-stocked and well-presented. Your responsibilities will include receiving and inspecting freight, pricing items, and maintaining an organized and clean store environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Embrace and support the Cavender's Culture while driving our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Accurately and efficiently assist with stocking tasks.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Familiarize yourself with all company policies and procedures.
• Understand and implement essential stocking procedures, including:
• Return to Stock (RTS)
• Return to Vendor (RTV)
• Validating packing slips
• Tagging merchandise
• Sensor tagging merchandise (if applicable)
• Effectively manage back-stock and ensure timely restocking on the sales floor.
• Report to work promptly and maintain a professional appearance.
• Stay alert and security-conscious at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet company goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and lower objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to carry objects up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to comprehend basic instructions and interpret documents.
• Strong ability to apply abstract principles to complex tasks.
• Proficiency in understanding and responding to verbal and written English.
• Willingness to remain alert throughout shifts.
