Liberty Health Care Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dietary Aide / Dishwasher to support our kitchen and dining services. This role is essential to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for our residents. What You'll DoFood Service & Trayline Support
- Set up trayline and dining areas; verify diet cards for accuracy (allergies, textures, portions)
- Portion and plate meals according to recipes and physician-ordered diets
- Deliver and collect meal trays; assist with nourishments and hydration stations
- Provide friendly, respectful service to residents during mealtimes
- Operate the dish machine and 3-compartment sink safely and effectively
- Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils; store items properly
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas, carts, and floors
- Assist with routine and rotating deep-cleaning tasks
- Assist cooks with basic food prep as needed
- Receive and store deliveries following safety and quality standards
- Communicate resident concerns or preferences to kitchen leadership
- Follow infection control, food safety, and HIPAA guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and follow diet cards and instructions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Comfortable standing/walking for most of the shift
- Ability to lift 20-25 lbs regularly (up to 50-60 lbs occasionally)
- Food Handler/Sanitation certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to meet employment and health requirements (background, drug screen, TB/health clearance)
- Part-Time
- 8-hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required
