Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the shipping, receiving, and storage of products. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Baytown, TX
Pay Range: $17.50 - $19.00/hour DOE
Shift: Day shift 6am - 6pm M-F
What's the Job?
Operate warehouse forklift safely at all times
Follow all work instructions and safety procedures
Accurately complete and process all paperwork promptly
Verify the condition of customer packages and report non-conformance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and dock facilities
What's Needed?
Minimum of 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience (certified forklift license preferred)
At least 6 consecutive months of daily forklift operation experience
Ability to pass drug test and background screening
Valid state driver's license
Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms (55.1 pounds) for 15 minutes and move pallets weighing up to 34 kilograms (75 pounds)
