ROLE OVERVIEW

The Custodial Maintenance Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and ready to support our business goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to all company policies and standards, including Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance protocols.
  • Reporting any injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management promptly.
  • Executing various cleaning tasks such as emptying trash, washing floors, and maintaining cleanliness of windows, tables, chairs, and equipment as per established procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in manufacturing areas and exterior spaces.
  • Carrying out assigned tasks diligently and efficiently.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties for the facility.
  • Completing minor maintenance tasks such as refilling soap dispensers, changing light bulbs, and inspecting faucets.
  • Setting up tables and chairs for different events as needed.
  • Contributing as a valuable member of a collaborative team.
  • Managing waste disposal, including the use of a forklift when necessary.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes while maintaining quality and performance standards.
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime, including weekends, as required.
  • Forklift operation competency in accordance with company safety policies is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to stand for the duration of the scheduled shift.
  • Moderate physical effort required, including lifting up to 40 lbs. repetitively.
  • Vision clarity for close, distance, and peripheral viewing, as well as depth perception.
  • Manual dexterity to carry out various tasks involving hands, fingers, and arms.
  • Ability to maintain focus while completing diverse cleaning duties.
  • Frequent immersion of hands in water and sanitation solutions.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Manufacturing environment with a multi-step production process.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels.
  • Temperature variations according to seasonal changes.
