Data Entry Clerk III (Risk Stewardship)
We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking a Data Entry Clerk in Spring, TX.
Support and coordinate with project teams in Houston, the Netherlands and Singapore in managing the risk action tracking registers and project risk assessment plans. The project risk assessment plans and risk action tracking registers are specially developed and customized for the projects.
Responsibilities:
- Enters and updates information into computer programs or databases.
- Assesses files to determine what information needs to be entered and the appropriate location for entry.
- Prepares source data for entry by compiling and sorting information and establishes entry priorities. Follows verbal and written instructions.
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Entering action items into the project risk action tracking registers
- Assessing risk assessment reports to determine what information needs to be entered and the appropriate location for entry
- Implementing changes on action due dates, action reviewers and study dates
- Coordinating updates and issue of the project risk assessment plan reports
- Supporting monthly risk stewardship data preparation
- Troubleshooting risk stewardship data as needed
- Carrying out annual access review and managing access to the databases
- Delivering training on using the project risk action tracking registers when required
- May need to work odd hours to support project teams located in different time zones
Requirements: - Oil & Gas Manufacturing Industry experience
- 3-5 years Data Entry Clerk experience
- Microsoft Excel - Advanced
- Use of Smartsheet
- Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
- Expert in the field, possibly professional certification holder.
Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
Education: Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma
Location: Spring, TX 77389
Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $29.00 - 33.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule: Onsite; 1 st shift, 5 days on / 2 days off - 5 days on / 2 days off - may have to work evenings and early mornings to support overseas Team.
The contractor may have evening zoom meetings with Singapore or early morning zoom meetings with the Netherlands. Due to the odd hours, the person may end up working from home occasionally.
Length of Assignment: Contract (Long term contract going into 2030)
