General Responsibilities

Managing a team to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

A. Operational Functions:

Managing a dispatch team that schedules and coordinates deliveries and pick-ups.

Ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered timely into tracking software.

Managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and location of drivers.

Tracking delivery progress of shipments.

Managing the zoning of driver dispatches to ensure they are cost effective routes.

B. Administrative Functions:

Keeping records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.

Managing and tracking detention times accurately per shipment.

Minimum Requirements

LTL, Local, and Linehaul Knowledge.

Deadline driven thorough knowledge of the LTL and Linehaul.

Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

Excellent time management.
