Role Description

The General Manager will oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of Andy's Frozen Custard in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing customer service, implementing company policies, monitoring financial performance, maintaining food safety standards, and leading team development. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring exceptional leadership and communication skills to maintain high operational standards and create a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of proven management experience in the food service industry
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Work a minimum of 45-50 hours per week, have open availability; available by phone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
• Work 3-4 closing shifts per week, in addition to day shifts
• Can manage cash according to cash handling and banking policies
• Must be able to work late nights, weekends, as well as some holidays including but not limited to memorial day, labor day, 4th of July, and Easter
• Complete training in all areas of store within designated amount of time
• Complete all required tasks on Andy's training modules, and continue ongoing education on training
• Must be able to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
• Must be able to learn quickly
• Must be able to use touch sensitive POS System tablet
• Effective oral communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Ability work as part of a team
