We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Roll Threader to set up and operate thread rolling machines in a precision manufacturing environment. This role focuses on producing high-quality threaded fasteners used in aerospace and similar high-spec industries. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, can interpret detailed engineering drawings, and is comfortable maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.

Aerospace Roll Threader Job Duties:

  • Set up and operate two-die cylindrical thread rolling machines to produce threaded fasteners such as bolts, studs, and pins to specification
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and process sheets including thread class, pitch diameter, and major and minor diameters
  • Select, install, and align thread rolling dies and supporting tooling
  • Perform die changes, machine adjustments, and minor repairs as needed
  • Conduct first article and in-process inspections using thread plug and ring gages, micrometers, calipers, and optical comparator equipment
  • Adjust machine settings such as feed, pressure, speed, lubrication, and part orientation to maintain quality standards
  • Identify and correct thread defects such as drunken threads, torn material, taper, pitch errors, and out-of-round conditions
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on new part setups, trials, and process improvements
  • Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Aerospace Roll Threader Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in thread rolling, thread forming, or cold heading in a precision manufacturing environment
  • Experience in aerospace, turbomachinery, or power generation fastener manufacturing preferred
  • Familiarity with UNJ threads, fillet rolled roots, and underhead fillets
  • Hands-on experience rolling threads on alloy steels and superalloys
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T and thread specifications (UN/UNJ, metric)
  • Proficiency with inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, thread gages, and comparators
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Steel-toe shoes required
  • No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Pay: $26.00+ DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
