Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Outside Sales Representative based in Houston, TX. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and delivering sales presentations, building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Daily tasks include meeting with potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop long-term relationships with engineers, buyers, and plant operators while representing a respected and rapidly growing brand.


Key Responsibilities


  • Grow sales of instrumentation hardware including tube fittings, gas sample cylinders, instrumentation valves, manifolds, related accessories, etc.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industrial clients across Texas and surrounding regions.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, prepare quotations, and follow up to close business.
  • Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations with customers.
  • Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer events (approx. 20% travel).
  • Provide market feedback to management to help shape new product and service offerings.
  • Track activity, opportunities, and pipeline in CRM.


Qualifications


  • 2+ years of outside sales experience in industrial products, valves, fittings, instrumentation, or related fields (preferred).
  • Familiarity with refinery, midstream, chemical, and process industry sales cycles (preferred)
  • Technical understanding of fluid system applications (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Sales Presentations and New Business Development
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results oriented.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally (~10%).
  • Technical background or mechanical aptitude a plus.
