Role Description

This is an on-site contractor position based in Houston, TX, for an Estimator / Engineer role. Responsibilities include developing cost estimates, assessing project requirements, and conducting detailed calculations related to insurance claims. Additional tasks involve evaluating property damage, preparing detailed reports, and providing technical support to ensure accurate project projections. The role requires collaboration with legal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to assist in the resolution of insurance disputes.

Qualifications
  • Experience in cost estimation, project planning, and evaluating property damage
  • Strong proficiency in technical calculations and data analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create clear, concise reports
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and collaboration
  • Familiarity with insurance claims processes and industry regulations is a plus
  • Proficiency in related software and tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, or estimation software
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX
