The Staff Analyst serves in the Houston Public Works (HPW) Council Liaison Branch within the Office of the Chief of Staff in the Directors Office. This team functions as the primary point of contact for Houston City Council Offices, including 11 district offices and 5 at-large offices, coordinating communication, inquiry response, and public session engagement. Working collaboratively with other Council Liaison team members, this position provides advanced professional, administrative, and analytical support related to City Council inquiries, public session coordination, and intergovernmental communications. This position is responsible for researching, tracking, analyzing, and coordinating responses to Council Office requests and Public Session speaker concerns in collaboration with multiple HPW divisions, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
