About the RoleThe Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. The Warehouse Supervisor will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, this individual should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.ResponsibilitiesAchieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goodsManage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipmentOrganize and maintain inventory and storage area with a clean and safe working environmentEnsure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracyEnsure cycle counts and inventory accuracy is monitored and corrected as neededCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesCommunicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely mannerCoordinate company vehicle and/or outsource truckingQualificationsProven 7-10 years' work experience as a Warehouse SupervisorHighly effective supervisory skills and techniquesKnowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiencyExperience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV) is a plusAbility to input, retrieve and analyze dataHands-on commitment to getting the job doneExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to direct and coordinate operationsStrong organizational and time management skillsWorking ConditionsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled shop for extended periods, includes standing, crouching, lifting, bending, etc.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
