Warehouse Order Puller
Location: Houston, TX 77095

Pay: $17.00/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours: (Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire) reliable 40-hour schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Pull tickets, fulfill custom client orders, and unpack, verify, and inspect incoming goods against manifests, professionally package, box, and process outgoing orders.
  
• Handle specialized commercial and direct burial wire/cable products. Manage heavy materials, including processing and moving wooden reels and materials organized by size and weight.
  
• Transfer and repackage bulk materials from plastic to wooden reels. Safely build, pack, and palletize heavy racks for secure shipment.
  
• Safely operate the push rod and pedal/switch machinery for wire winding. Safely run forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
  
• Maintain 100% accurate inventory records. Use RF scanner systems to scan tickets, pull orders, print documents, and prepare outbound packing slips. Perform basic computer data entry in Excel and Outlook.
  
• Perform minor equipment checks, clear debris, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace to uphold safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a heavy-duty warehouse, industrial shipping/receiving, or manufacturing/production environment is preferred.
  
• Proficient with RF scanner systems (for pulling, scanning, and printing orders) and basic computer functions.
  
• Strong basic math skills, clear verbal/written communication, and a sharp ability to follow complex, multi-step instructions.
  
• Prefers an independent working style, possesses a strong work ethic, stays highly organized, and maintains composure while meeting daily productivity deadlines under pressure.

Physical Requirements & Environment

• Ability to consistently lift, pull, push, and manually maneuver heavy materials ranging from 20 lbs to 80 lbs.
  
• Full physical mobility to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout a demanding 8-hour shift.
  
• Comfort working independently in a standard, fast-paced warehouse environment subject to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
