Concession Technician - Part-Time

We're looking for a friendly, dependable Concession Technician - Part-Time to help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest. In this role, you'll collect payments for food and ticket sales, take and prepare orders with care, and maintain clean, sanitary food preparation and serving areas. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding health and safety standards while inspecting food items and supplies. This position performs a variety of work in the daily operations of a concession stand, including ticket sales. Handles concession monies, sells and maintains inventory of all concession items, cleans facility, stocks and keeps daily record of sale.

Duties

  • Collects payments for food items and ticket sells.
  • Takes and prepares food orders, cleans utensils, equipment, storage, food preparation and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions.
  • Responds to inquiries of staff and the public for the purpose of providing information and/or direction.
  • Inspects food items and/or supplies for the purpose of verifying quantity and specifications of orders and/or complying with mandated health requirements.
  • Performs all other job related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be sixteen years of age.
  • Basic reading and writing skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in food preparation and service.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (must obtain TX driver's license within 90 days).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of basic math, health standards and hazards, cooking, handling cash, and safety practices and procedures. Ability to operate food preparation equipment, work as part of a team, and cook food. Ability to get along appropriately with co-workers and the public.
