Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels. Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems. To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory, supporting accurate inventory levels and generating orders/requisitions as needed.Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure appropriate levels are established without affecting patient care.Identifies excess inventory, returns stock, and processes credits.Notifies supervisor of outdated or slow‑moving inventory.Participates in the put‑away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management system.Maintains clean and orderly stock locations, labels bins, and handles requests to change par levels.Job RequirementsHigh School Graduate (General Studies) and one (1) year supply chain‑related experience or other relevant experience, upon hire.High School GED (General Studies) and one (1) year supply chain‑related experience or other relevant experience, upon hire.No formal education requirement; one (1) year supply chain‑related experience or other relevant experience, upon hire.Where You'll WorkBaylor St. Luke's Medical Center is a 1,045‑bed facility located in the Texas Medical Center.
