Position Summary

Working under the supervision of the Buyback Lead, the Public Receiving Spotter performs duties to safely direct commercial and public customers for dumping on the Public (Z-Wall) tip floor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets customers and helps direct them to appropriate areas for proper disposal
• Monitors customers while dumping to ensure compliance with company disposal procedures
• Identifies and removes CRT's and E-Waste, disposing in proper containers, and ensuring that all E-Waste is logged and labeled properly
• Keeps area free of Household Hazardous Waste, and prevents all types of illegal dumping
• Maintains housekeeping on upper and lower areas of Z-Wall, as well as debris found along road to Z-Wall; removes glass and debris by toting a 50-gallon, wheeled bin, sweeping near and around the 50-yard metal containers and curbs
• Adheres to and follows all company safety policies and procedures
• Other work-related duties as assigned
