Dock WorkerJob Summary: As a Dock Worker for H-E-B Transportation, you'll load and unload trailers, safely and thoroughly. You'll operate MHE and promote a safe, clean work environment.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Transportation Operations: Plans and facilitates daily loading and unloading of H-E-B trailers of specific reusables (e.g., pallets, plastic trays and crates, boxes, wrap, ties, assorted returns)Loads and unloads trailers in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with SOPs; unloads completelyMaintains clean trailers; operates wash equipment; washes trailers as neededOperates material handling equipmentPromotes a safe and clean work environmentMaintains a sense of urgency; always prompt and punctualEscalates issues outside parameters to appropriate partiesThe responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
