Material HandlerLocation: Houston, TX (100% Onsite) Duration: 3 Months (Contract to Permanent) Pay rate: $18.20 per hour on W2 Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM and open to working weekends.Responsibilities:Processes customer shipments and manual shipments (B-tickets).Analyzes order HOLDs and communicates with customer service.Analyzes inventory availability for shipments (location & quantity).Releases sales orders to pick status.Monitors sales orders picked but not shipped.Maintains shipping records per the Emerson record retention policy.Coordinates freight schedules—small package, will call, LTL and TL.Follows up on customer orders allocated but not picked with appropriate personnel.Provides shipping documents to customer service as requested.Acts as a liaison between customer service and shipping activities—coordinate weights & dims, shipping methods, etc.Requests/Creates commercial invoices for international shipments as needed.Monitors shipping supplies.Assists with Material Handling responsibilities as neededPerforms other duties as assigned.Work overtime as required.
